Authorities have decided to conduct autopsy on the dead body discovered from Bandeyri Koshi apartment in Male' City earlier on May 13, 2024.

Maldives Police Service on Monday, confirmed to local media the dead body has been transported to India for autopsy already.

Police searched the apartment Monday last week following a report. The authority said the deceased has been identified Hammad Saeed, 30, of Vilingileege, GDh. Hoadedhdhoo.

The authority however did not disclose any further information on the dead body, while police said the apartment has not been in use for sometime.
