SATV Kathmandu, Aug 05: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli arrived in Turkmenistan today to participate in the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDCs).
Upon his arrival at Turkmenbashi International Airport, Prime Minister Oli was welcomed by Deputy Prime Minister of Turkmenistan, Hojamyrat Geldimyradov, along with Lok Bahadur Thapa, Resident Representative of Nepal's Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York, and other officials.
The delegation, led by Prime Minister Oli, traveled to the city of Awaza, Turkmenistan, via Dubai International Airport.
Prime Minister Oli is attending the conference at the official invitation of President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedow and UN Secretary-General António Guterres. The conference is scheduled to be held in Awaza from August 5 to 8.
