SATV Kathmandu, Aug 03: Takpa Gallery recently launched ‘Divine Realm’, a solo exhibition by Manish Dhoju featuring thirteen hyperrealistic artworks made with graphite and charcoal on paper.
Dhoju spent almost a year finishing the artworks featured in this exhibit. Although he has participated in several group shows before, including the ‘Kathmandu Art Biennale 2024’, ‘Himalayan Art Festival 2024’, ‘Deities of Nepal II 2024’, ‘Amalgam 2025’, and ‘Chitrakatha 2025’, this is his first solo exhibition.
“I loved drawing since I was a child. I still remember sketching a horse in second grade, that’s when I developed a fondness for sketching,” Dhoju shares, reflecting on his early artistic journey. “As this is my first solo exhibition, I’m excited and nervous.”
‘Divine Realm’ will remain on view at Takpa Gallery until August 30.
