The government has further relaxed a curfew in Dhaka, Narayanganj, Gazipur, and Narsingdi from 7am to 6pm for three days beginning on Sunday.

Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan announced the decision after a meeting with senior officers of the law-enforcing and intelligence agencies on Saturday night.

The situation is improving gradually, said the minister.

“Everything is getting normal. We’ll lift the curfew when normalcy is fully restored among the people,” he said.

The minister urged the protesters to withdraw their fresh program.
