The Supreme Court has informed that none of the clauses of the Central Bank Amendment Bill is inconsistant with the constitution, Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena announced today.

He told Parliament that the Bill can be approved by a simple majority in Parliament. (Yohan Perera and Ajith Siriwardana)
