Kathmandu, Dec. 5: Third International Watercolor Festival had been started. The five-day watercolor festival started from Saturday in Nepal Art Council, Babarmahal.
Organized by the International Watercolor Society Nepal, this festival will last until 6th of November. 39 countries have participated in the exhibition and 342 waterworks are put on demonstration in Nepal Art Council, Babarmahal.
N.B. Gurung, President of IWS Nepal, informed, " 30 artists from abroad have come for this art festival and more than 150 artists from Nepal have participated". He added, "this event will help to convey the original identity of Nepal, provide Nepal's artist a better platform to the world as well as will get a chance to learn the development of artworks around the world".
Organizers said 30 artists from Britain, Myanmar, Thailand, Bangladesh, India, Austria and other countries have come to Nepal to participate in the art festival.
Around 400 visitors have been visiting per day lately to explore the artworks.
