More than 100 Chinese players on the plane arrived in Pokhara from Kunming, including all the officials. The Chinese athletes who have come to participate in the "War Horse" Nepal Pokhara International Himalayan Cross-Country Race Competition, which is going to be held in Pokhara on November 9th, has arrived in Nepal.

For the first time, a charter flight of a domestic airline company, Himalaya Airlines, has landed at Pokhara International Airport which was built under the Belt and Road Project.

Flight H97842 of Himalaya Airlines from Khunming, China managed to land in Pokhara at 5:55 PM. Before this, only a charter plane of international flight, Sichuan Airlines had landed at Pokhara International Airport.

His Excellency Chen Song, Chinese Ambassador to Nepal of the People's Republic of China, Dhan Raj Acharya; Mayor of Pokhara Metropolitan City, Dhananjay Regmi; Executive Director of Nepal Tourism Board and other dignitaries were present to welcome the athletes in Pokhara.

A reception dinner was organized at Hotel Barahi in Pokhara to warmly welcome the visitors. In the ceremony, the mayor of Pokhara and Khunming province also exchanged tokens of love. Various musical performances made the dinner's atmosphere more melodious, welcoming and vibrant. The dinner which became a good opportunity for Chinese acquaintances between the people of Nepal and China, made it easier and comfort to understand each other's language and culture.

This flight of Himalaya Airlines is also regarded as a test flight by officials of the organising team of this game which can be contributing for future prospects of international flights in Pokhara. Nepal and China are neighboring countries connected by mountains and rivers. This flight has reduced the distance between Nepal and China and strengthened the friendship. It is believed that this flight will play an important role in promoting Nepali tourism and strengthening the relationship between the two countries further.
