KATHMANDU, Dec 6: The employees of Tribhuvan University (TU) have issued a warning, stating that they will halt administrative and academic programs if their 45-point demand is not addressed. The Tribhuvan University Employees Association (TUEA) issued a statement, threatening to disrupt the convocation ceremony if their demands are not met within three days.

“If there is no concrete decision within three days to ensure the full implementation of the past agreements and the continued receipt of the lost facilities, the administrative work and academic programs of all institutions of the TU will be completely stopped and the convocation ceremony of the TU will also be affected,'' reads a statement issued by the TUEA on Tuesday.

The TUEA has been demanding the implementation of the 45-point demand made in Chaitra (mid-March to mid-April) last year and the agreement signed with the TU in Poush (mid-December to mid-Januray) last year.

The TUEA’s Central President Chhatra Bahadur Karki submitted a memorandum to Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Shiva Lal Bhusal on Monday, urging attention to their demands.
