SATV, Kathmandu, Sep 12th : The Beautiful China:Tibetan Tourism Promotion Conference kicked off today, showcasing the breathtaking landscapes and rich cultural heritage of Tibet and surrounding regions and unveiling official website and a QR code for easy access to information about tourist routes in China. The event aimed to promote Tibetan tourism and establish robust connections between local and international travel agencies.

The conference commenced with the captivating playing of promotional videos, highlighting various stunning tourist destinations across China, particularly in Tibet.

Dikesh Maharjan, Executive Deputy Director of the Group Alliance on Tourist Routes to China, Gengga Cicheng, Chairman of YUSHU SNOWLEOPARD TOURISM COMPANY LTD in Qinghai Province, Li Gang, General Manager ofTibet See Mountain Heshi Tourism Co., Professor Punya Prasad Parajuli, arenowned Nepalese Buddhist scholar, Ram Prasad Sapkota, Vice Chairman of theNepal Tourism Board and many other renowned figures attended the event.

Dikesh Maharjan, Executive Deputy Director of the Group Alliance on Tourist Routes to China. Maharjan presented an overview of the Group Alliance's mission to facilitate and promote tourism routes connecting diverse regions of China, emphasizing the importance of collaboration among travel agencies.

Following Cicheng's address, Li Gang, General Manager of Tibet See Mountain Heshi Tourism Co., shared his expertise on the Kailash Pilgrimage, one of the most revered spiritual journeys in the region. His presentation highlighted the profound cultural and spiritual significance of Kailash, attracting pilgrims and adventurers alike.

Adding an academic perspective, Professor Punya Prasad Parajuli, a renowned Nepalese Buddhist scholar, discussed the historical and spiritual connections between Xizang (Tibet) tourism and the Kailash Pilgrimage route. His insights provided a deeper understanding of the pilgrimage's importance to both local and international visitors.

The conference also featured a speech by Ram Prasad Sapkota,Vice Chairman of the Nepal Tourism Board, who emphasized the potential for cross-border tourism initiatives between Nepal and Tibet, fostering greater cultural exchange and economic growth.

As part of the conference's offerings, the Group Alliance announced the prices of tourist routes to China from November 2024 to January2025, providing potential travelers with valuable insights into upcoming travel opportunities.
