Parliament March  6 (Daily Mirror)- The government is expecting to obtain a debt moratorium from 2023 to 2027, President Ranil Wickremesinghe announced in Parliament today.

Making a special statement in Parliament, he said the government will resume repaying debts between the period of 2027 and 2042.

"We are expecting to obtain a debt moratorium from 2023 to 2027. It means that from January 2023 to December 2027. After that, we will repay the debts from 2027 to 2042," he said.
