In the statement, the neighboring country Nepal also emphasized on the development and cooperation of the neighboring country Nepal to join hands with China for development and prosperity. 

Regarding the second session of the 14th Chinese National and Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, the experts participating in the interaction program on China's economic development and new opportunities for neighboring countries held in Kathmandu today emphasized the former point.

Participating in the interaction organized by China Media Group and jointly organized by Nepal China Youth Friendship Association and Friendship Forum for Nepalese Journalists, the experts mentioned that the subject of Nepal was also included in the two annual meetings of international importance going on in the neighboring country China and said that Nepal should also benefit from China's economy and development.

Addressing the interaction, Wang Xin, DCM of the Chinese Embassy in Nepal, mentioned the fact that China is growing economically at a rapid pace in the world expanding the relationship between Nepal and China from a people-to-people level and called for cooperation and coordination, saying that China is ready to cooperate with the neighboring country Nepal on the road to prosperity along with the development of China.

Leelamani Paudyal, the former Nepali Ambassador to China and the former Chief Secretary of the Government of Nepal, mentioned that Nepal is a neighboring country economically, socially and geographically connected with China, the first country in the world in terms of purchasing power, production, foreign trade power, etc.

Paudel emphasized that there should be uniformity in understanding towards China at the political and high level to make the relationship between Nepal and China fruitful. Similarly, he said that cooperation with China should be done on the basis of priority. He highlighted that China's technology development, new energy, people-to-people relations, building an environment of trust at the political level, cooperation in regional and international relations, should be able to build common development and common destiny.

Senior writer, diplomat and former ambassador of Russia, Hiranyalal Shrestha said that Nepal is not a landlocked country but growing to become a land linked country and should be able to move forward together in development and growth by expanding the network with neighboring China.

He expressed his belief that if the development done by China in the Tibetan region can be extended to the Himalayan districts towards Nepal, not only the Himalayan regions but also Nepal as a whole will develop and the social and cultural relations between Nepal and China will become stronger.
