SATV, June 13. A mega event of tourism has been prepared to be held for two days continuously on June 14 and 15 in Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu. As the organisers claim it to be the Nepal’s biggest tourism exhibition, it is revealed that more than 16 countries are particiapting in the exhibition.
The NITE will be inaugurated by Nepal Tourism and Civil Aviation Minister Hit Bahadur Tamang on Friday at 9 am. The organizer has informed today through a press conference that preparations for the biggest tourism exhibition in Nepal have been completed.
The expo aimed of promoting Nepal's tourism in the international market by organizing a tourism-related mega event in Nepal. The event has been organised by Summit Events and Markets, promoted by Nepal Tourism Board and supported by Kathmandu Metropolitan Municipality alongside various associations.
The night expo aims to bring together tourism-related businesses (hotels, resorts, homestays, travel tour/trekking/mountaineering agencies, airlines, interested individuals and organizations) in the country and abroad to promote Nepal's tourism. In this exhibition, 16 countries, 150 vendors, 250 restaurants more than 1,000 visitors will participate, including Bihar Tourism and Tourism Malaysia.
Organizers believe that this exhibition, which plays a major role in encouraging cooperation between tourism professionals, will expand the international tourism network and trade.
NITE 2024,being held for the first time in Nepal, is Nepal's largest international B2B and B2C tourism exhibition. It aims to bring together various national and international tourism stakeholders for two days of networking, fostering new collaborations and establishing sustainable partnerships.
The expo will hold panel discussions on various topics related to tourism and will thus serve as a major platform to increase business contacts and promote Nepal's tourism industry.
This event is a national level event rather than just a company's event. Overall, the multifaceted relevance of tourism events organized in Nepal is displayed. It will play an important role in strengthening the economic, cultural, social and international relations of the country.
The Nepal International Tourism Expo aims to be a major event highlighting Nepal's rich natural and cultural heritage and promoting meaningful relationships and collaboration within the global tourism community. NITE Expo hosted over 250 buyers, over a thousand trade visitors, and over 130 exhibitors from Nepal, India, China, Hong Kong, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Maldives, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Dubai, Turkey, Philippines, Azerbaijan and Exhibitors from more than 16 countries will participate.
