Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal on Saturday said that local conspirators are united and are trying to stop the upcoming national parliamentary elections.
Asaduzzaman Khan also urged all to remain vigilant against the conspirators.
The minister said these things in response to the questions of the journalists at a program in Savar on Saturday afternoon.
At the time, the minister said that many teams and counter teams arise when election time arrives. Those people don't want to come to power through democracy, don't participate in elections, and create anarchy to avoid elections. The government is still monitoring this kind of activity.
“We have always seen that the conspirators are united in elections for another new conspiracy. So everyone should be careful,” he added.
Regarding the Jamaat's rally, the minister said that Jamaat always held its programs at the north gate of Baitul Mukarram. The Jamaat has now been told that there will be severe traffic jams if it is done at that place of Baitul Mukarram. They should go to some other venue. For that, they changed the venue and went to another place.
