Sita Dahal, who is also an adviser of CPN (Maoist Centre), died on Wednesday morning while undergoing treatment at Norvic Hospital in Thapathali.

She was taken to Norvic Hospital after her oxygen level decreased on Wednesday morning at 7:30 am. 

She was suffering from Progressive Supranuclear Palsy along with Parkinsonism, Diabetes Mellitus-II and Hypertensionunder (on/off) Domicillary oxygen with PEG feeding and indwelling catheter was taken to the hospital on Wednesday morning following complications in her health condition. She went to cardiac arrest at 8 am. She breathed her last at her 69.

“Despite resuscitation, she could not be revived and declared dead at 08:33 am,”the hospital said.
