Kathmandu, Aug 22: Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Nepal today hosts the program sequence of awarding ceremony for annual competitions and Chinese Education Reception in hotel Yak and Yeti, Kathmandu. The event was organized by Nepal-China Cultural and Educational Council, Volunteer’s Home for International Chinese Language Education.
Embassy of People’s Republic of China to Nepal made people to people communications between China and Nepal for many years through hosting competitions, organizing activities and conducting cooperation in multiple views and aspects.
Everyone standing as paying a respect to the national anthem of both nations being played before the start of the program.

Thanking the language instructors for contributing on strengthening the two countries relationship through language, Honourable minister of education ministry Ashok Kumar Rai sharing his recent trip to China also exclaims that the innovation of China was really impressive and influencing. ‘‘As Nepal-China has been reliable friends from centuries, I believe, joining hands on science and technology will also bring great outcome’’. He added, ‘‘Cultural, economic, political, science, technology, transport and communication have created a global village and learning of language will not only make one powerful but also contributes on one’s progress’’.

His Excellency, Chen Song, ambassador of China to Nepal stated, "our bilateral relations and people to people relationships have been flourished highly from the beginning of this year since the effects of Corona pandemic decreased". ''I believe every youngsters shall study dedicatedly respecting the precious time they have and one day be able to soar in the same air.” Mr. Song concludes," dear all, along with the lot of China-Nepal, in new journey to the community, write your own glory and renew the friendship between two nations."
Different students performed dance and music to entertain the audiences while some gave Speech to describe their feelings, attitude and show respect to neighbouring Chinese language and culture.
The hallway was decorated with presentation of student's skillful and impressive paintings and arts which highly expressed their understanding of Chinese culture.
Chief guests, Mr. Song and Mr. Rai handed over the awards to the winners of six different competitions held by Chinese Embassy in Nepal, namely; 16th Chinese Bridge- Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreign Secondary School Students Finals in Nepal, 10th “Ambassador Cup” Nepalese Primary and Secondary School Students Chinese Speech Competition, 9th Chinese Cultural Talent Competition, awards for 4th and 5th ‘‘China in My Mind’’ Nepalese Primary and Middle School Students Painting Competition and lastly presentation of awards for the Outstanding Organizations.
