SATV, Kathmandu, Bhadra 1: A total of 700 tourists are entering Nepal today and tomorrow, 350 per day, for visiting around Nepal. This is the first time when Bangladeshi tourists are visiting Nepal in this large number at once.

First group of Bangladeshi tourists arrived Nepal today at around 12:30 pm where members of Nepal Tourism Board greeted them at Tribhuwan International Airport to welcome them. They will be staying Nepal for 3 days.

Surya Thapa, Manager of Nepal Tourism Board, who arrived at the airport to welcome the tourists, said that they had come to Nepal from Bangladesh to celebrate the holiday. He informed that the number of tourists coming to Nepal from Bangladesh has been continuously increasing since last three years.
The Akij Group, one of the topmost organisation in Bangladesh visited Nepal to spend holidays for three days in and around Kathmandu. It is reported that they are also holding a conference of their organisation in hotel Yak and Yeti, Kathmandu.

Sheikh Azraf Uddin, CEO of Akij group also arrived along today's morning flight's group and thanked for the warm cultural Nepalese Panche Baja welcome.
Similarly, he added that Nepal has always been the right and best destination to visit. He expressed an opinion that he has received a good welcome in Nepal and is eager to visit Nepal. Akij group is a business of pipes and plastics which has run for more than 70 years now.

The incoming Bangladeshi groups are making two shifts in a day of 170 and 180, bringing in 350 visitors total, a day. The group will be visiting Patan and Syambhunath in day one, Chandragiri and Dhulikhel in the second day and Bhaktapur in day three as the main scheduled enlisted destination places for them to visit.
It is reported that Bangladesh has kept Nepal as one of the "must visit" destinations for Bangladeshi citizens and they are excited to visit around Nepal.
