The Colombo District Court today decided to dissolve its previous enjoining, issued on Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) Chairman Maithripala Sirisena.
The court had earlier issued an enjoining order preventing the operation of an explanation letter sent by SLFP Chairman Maithripala Sirisena to former SLFP General Secretary Dayasiri Jayasekara.
Former President Maithripala Sirisena, through his lawyer Faiszer Musthapha, made a request to dissolve the enjoining order stating that this order had been obtained by concealing material facts to the case.
Taking the facts into consideration, Colombo District Court Judge Sandun Vithana decided to dissolve the enjoining order which was issued on the SLFP office bearers.
