President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu and First Lady Sajidha Mohamed arrived in the Maldives on Saturday evening after concluding their unofficial visit to Singapore.

The presidential couple flew to Singapore on Thursday last week, but President's Office did not provide any details about this visit.

The couple had previously visited Singapore on another unofficial trip while he was the president-elect, which too was not detailed to the public, for a week's duration.

President flew to Turkey as his first state visit after assuming presidency, after which he next made an official visit to China.
