ISLAMABAD: About seven out of every ten Pakistanis eat dinner together with Iftar in Ramazan.

This was revealed in a survey by Gallup Pakistan, in which more than 2,000 people participated from across the country. The survey was conducted between March 18 and 25, 2024.

In the survey, 66 percent of Pakistanis declared eating dinner with Iftar as their first priority in Ramazan, saying that eating food with Iftar is convenient and digestion also remains good. About 2 percent did not give any answer to the question.

According to Gallup Pakistan, in the survey, the trend of eating Iftar and dinner together was seen more in rural areas as 68 percent in villages said they eat Iftar and dinner together, while 29 percent eat dinner at different times. About 3pc did not answer the question.

On the contrary, in urban areas, the number of those who said to eat Iftar and dinner together was at 61pc, while the number of those who ate dinner late was seen at 37pc. Some 2pc of the people involved in the survey from urban areas did not answer the question.
