SATV, Kathmandu, April 29: Nepal and China have promoted their diplomatic relation to next level bridging two nations with green agro friendship in the evening of April 29 by signing a contract in which Nepal signed to sell Oat grass, produced in Nuwakot and Chitwan to China.
In the event held in Naxal, the two parties successfully made an agreement and signed on their contracts which would proceed the process of agricultural connection between two nations. The oat grass has been agreed upon to produce and purchase from Nepal to feed Yaks and horses during the long winter.
The agreement was witnessed by honourable Deputy Prime Minister of Nepal; Narayan Kaji Shrestha, Chinese ambassador to Nepal, his excellency Mr. Chen Song, Chitwan's Mayor honourable Renu Dahal and in the special hospitality of Lang Fuquan, Vice President of Sichang (Tibet) Autonomous Region and other Chinese and Nepalese delegates.

"This exchange will help to reduce Nepal's trade deficit, promote economic development and meet the needs of China to some extent," says Home Minister Shrestha. Showing his commitment to development, he encourages, "let us all commit to this and move forward. Other organizations should also come forward and play their role in its business interactions and transactions". He conveys that he presents his immense gratitude towards every organisations which made this event happen with their own precedence.
He also reminds of 14 traditional trade routes between Nepal and China that had been closed after pandemic which now remains only the technical delay away to restart that can uplift Nepalese and Chinese trade lives.
Shrestha also took a chance to inform, Chinese government has announced that Nepalese would be facilitated with free visa to visit China.
China's Tibet Blue Plateau company signed a contract to buy Oats grass and poultry grains of animals from Nepal Crown Agricultural Enterprises and New Hope Nepal Company respectively.
Further, New Hope Nepal company signs to provide organic biofertilizer to Nepal crown agriculture enterprises.
Tibet Blue Plateau Agriculture Company announced plans to establish a yak grazing base in Nepal. Green Khada crosses the snow-capped Himalayas and closely connects Tibet and Nepal.
Chinese businessman Chang Chinxiang said that the work was facilitated by various agencies of Nepal and the Department of Commerce of Tibet. According to him, Tibet Plateau Agriculture Company has already received commercial instructions from the Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of Tibet in December 2023.
Therefore, this ceremony was not only a wonderful moment of the "Belt and Road" initiative, but also a strong witness of the situational agricultural cooperation between China and Nepal in the new era.
