SATV NOV 24 KATHMANDU: The influence of the westerly wind continues to affect most parts of the country.

Kathmandu is experiencing a general influence from the westerly winds, with the weather being partly to generally cloudy in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces. In contrast, the weather in other areas remains clear.

According to the Weather Forecasting Division, the weather is expected to be partly to generally cloudy in the hilly regions of Koshi and Gandaki provinces this afternoon, while the rest of the country will see clear conditions.

There is a possibility of light rain in one or two areas of the hilly regions of Koshi and Gandaki, as well as light snowfall in select high hilly and mountainous regions.

Tonight, the weather in the hilly parts of Koshi province will be partly cloudy, while the rest of the country will remain clear. There may be light rain in a few locations within the hilly areas of Koshi province.

The Division has advised caution, as light rain is possible in some areas of the hilly regions of Koshi and Gandaki provinces, along with light snowfall in select high hilly and mountainous areas over the next 24 hours.

This weather could partially impact agriculture, health, tourism, mountaineering, as well as road and air transport.
