SATV, Kathmandu, Sept. 02 - The second batch of emergency relief supplies from China arrived at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu on Tuesday, aboard a Y-20 large transport aircraft of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) Air Force.

Five DNA identification experts, the third batch of Chinese experts sent to Nepal to assist with the disaster response, also arrived on the same flight.

Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Zhang Maoming and Nepal's Minister for Science, Technology and Innovation Mahabir Pun attended the handover ceremony for the relief supplies and welcomed the Chinese experts.

The relief supplies were provided based on Nepal's actual needs and included urgently required items such as drones, DNA testing equipment and reagents, water purification equipment and lighting devices.

Upon arrival, the Chinese DNA identification experts will immediately travel to disaster-affected areas to assist their Nepali counterparts with identification and related work.
