On Monday, Nepal recorded 3442 new cases of coronavirus infection from all over the country, with more than 3,000 day cases for two consecutive days.
After this update, the total number of infections nationwide is 303,561.
Among the new infections, 1,333 were women and 2,109 were men.

At the same time, the antigen test confirmed 114 positive cases in the past 24 hours. Therefore, the total infection of RT-PCR and antigen detection has now reached 3,556.
Of all the cases that have surfaced in the past 24 hours, the Kathmandu area has the most new infections at 1,567. Lalitpur reported 223 cases, while Bhaktapur reported 122 new cases.

Similarly, according to the latest data provided by the Ministry of Health, it is reported that 378 people who contracted the virus earlier have recovered in the past 24 hours.
As of today, 277,951 people have recovered from the new coronavirus infection. The recovery rate of the disease was 91.5%.
The number of active Covid-19 cases in Nepal is currently 22,434.
