Sugata told the newspaper, “He was a passenger who lost control due to alcohol. He drank four glasses of single malt whiskey at lunch. He was drunk. He asked me the same question three times, what do your children do? I then told the airline staff that he was drunk and not to give him any more alcohol."

According to him, the way he looked drunk made it look like he had been drinking before and after the meal.

According to Sugata, 'when the accused urinated on the woman sitting in seat 9A, he was sleeping. But what happened next happened in front of his eyes."

He says, “The victim looked very scared. The nurses were asking her to talk to the accused. But the woman kept saying that she was drunk. You can't bring someone who commits this kind of crime to apologize to the victim."

Complaints soon after landing

The intoxicated man then fell asleep. Sugata says, “When he woke up and regained his composure, he told me, 'Brother, maybe I'm in trouble.' That's when I told him absolutely yes."

He added, “After the flight, I asked the flight staff for a complaint book so that I could write against the way the situation was handled. But they gave me a blank sheet to write on. They did not even give any compensation for the complaint.”
