The coronavirus vaccines that were provided by the Chinese government have arrived in Kathmandu.
An aircraft of Nepal Airlines Corporation has brought 800,000 doses of the vaccine to Tribhuvan International Airport this afternoon. The aircraft had flown to Beijing on Monday to transport the vaccines to Nepal.
During a telephone conversation with President Bidhya Devi Bhandari on May 26, Chinese President Xi Jinping had pledged to provide one million doses of the COVID-19 vaccines under grant assistance.
