The Local Government election which was fixed for April 25, 2023 has been further postponed through a gazette notification issued by the District Returning Officers of the respective Districts.

The gazette notification issued by the respective District Returning Officers said that it is not possible to hold the LG polls on April 25 as the Treasury is yet to release the required funds for the polls.
