The swearing-in ceremony of the newly elected mayor, general and reserved councillors will be held at the Shapla Hall of the Prime Minister's Office on Monday.
Recently five city corporation elections were held across the country.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will read the oath of elected mayors of five cities in two rounds.
According to Prime Minister's Press Wing sources, at 10am in the Shapla Hall of the Prime Minister's Office, the oath of the elected mayors and councillors of Barisal, Khulna and Gazipur City Corporation will be held.
Rajshahi and Sylhet City Corporation mayors and councillors will take oath at the same place at 12pm.
Independent candidate Zayeda Khatun has been elected mayor of Gazipur City Corporation after defeating the Awami League candidate. In the remaining four city corporations, Awami League nominated candidates have been elected to the post of mayor.
The other nominated candidates are Talukder Abdul Khalek in Khulna City Corporation, Abul Khair Abdullah (Khokon Serniabat) in Barisal, AHM Khairuzzaman Liton in Rajshahi and Md Anwaruzzaman Chowdhury in Sylhet.
