KATHMANDU, Sept 24: The meetings of four parliamentary committees are scheduled to convene today. At 11 AM, the Infrastructure Development Committee will hold a meeting to discuss its future work plan.
Simultaneously, the Education, Health, and Information Technology Committee will also convene at 11 o'clock in the morning to address issues related to MBBS students and students who are holding hunger-strikes. They will engage in discussions with the TU Vice Chancellor, Nepal Medical Council, and TU Institute of Medical Studies.
Moreover, the State Affairs and Good Governance Committee is set to meet at 11 AM to deliberate on the bill to amend the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority Act, 2048 BS.
At 1 PM, the Sustainable Development and Good Governance Committee will hold a meeting to address the concerns of stakeholders dissatisfied with School Education Bill 2080 BS, which seeks to amend and consolidate school education laws.
