KATHMANDU, March 6: Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba visited the residence of CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal in Koteshwar today.
Accompanied by NC Chief Whip Ramesh Lekhak, NC President Deuba and his wife Arju Rana Deuba arrived at Chairman Nepal's residence at around 10 AM on Wednesday. Unified Socialist Chairman Nepal is currently recovering at home.
According to Mohan Gautam, a central member of the CPN (Unified Socialist), NC Chief Whip Ramesh Lekhak had conveyed a message to Deuba on Tuesday evening, initiating the meeting.
As the political landscape changes, political leaders are actively engaging in discussions and negotiations.
On Tuesday evening, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal and CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli also visited Koteshwar to meet Chairman Nepal.
Ghanshyam Bhusal, General Secretary of the CPN (Unified Socialist) Party, said that Chairman Nepal is relatively positive about the new alliance.
Furthermore, the CPN (Unified Socialist) is scheduled to hold a central secretariat meeting later today, with General Secretary Bhusal announcing that the meeting has been called for 11AM to decide whether or not to participate in the new coalition government.
