SATV, Kathmandu July 08: South Asian Travel Awards (SATA) today announced its 2024 promises to celebrate and honor excellence in the hospitality sector across the region with a two days of celebration. SATA is an annual event that recognizes and celebrates excellence in the travel and tourism industry across South Asia. 2024 marks SATA’s 8th edition of continuing its tradition to recognize outstanding achievements in South Asian hospitality.
400 nominees has been enlisted from overall South Asian nations for different categories of hospitality. The sources has detailed that 44 honoraries among the enlisted will be awarded from the realm of South Asian hospitality. The award will have two different; gold and silver divisions.
Aiming to foster connections among key players in the business, the event has been finalised to take place on September 19th, 2024, at The Malla Hotel. The programme has been supported by Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) and Hotels Association Nepal (HAN). Designed as a prime networking opportunity, the evening also intends to provide a platform for meaningful collaborations.
Following this the next event will be held on September 20th, 2024, at Aloft Kathmandu. This highly anticipated event will recognize and reward outstanding achievements in South Asian hosting, showcasing the pinnacle of hospitality excellence.
Previous editions of SATA have been held in Mount Lavinia, Addu City, Mumbai, Galle City, Male' Atoll, and Bengaluru. One edition was conducted virtually during the pandemic, demonstrating SATA's adaptability and commitment to celebrating excellence in challenging times.
With these events, SATA sets the stage for another year of innovation and growth in the industry, reinforcing its role as a premier platform for promoting and celebrating the best in South Asian hospitality.
