SATV 22 April, Kathmandu: With the aim of promoting Nepali brands and products to the international level and connect with the global economy improving present miserable condition of Nepalese economy, Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry(FNCCI) is conducting Nepal International Trade Fair starting from May 8, 2025 to May 12, 2025.
Supported by ministry of Industry,Commerce and Supplies, the fair, intends to merely vibrate the slow economy of the country and give it a positive waves. The fair, co-organized by Trade and Export Promotion Center, Lalitpur Chamber of Commerce and Federation of Handicrafts Association of Nepal expects around 20000 visitors during the event.
Trade fair committee president Umesh Dalmia considered the event as a stepping stone for the improvement of the current economic conditions. Answering the questions of press he suggested to either renovate the Bhrikutimandap exhibition centre by government or provide it to the hands of private sector for renovation, so that foreign traders could come easily.
The Nepal International Trade Fair is expected to have 300 or as many stalls to set from countries of different parts of the world including majority of stalls from People’s Republic of China, India, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Thailand.
In the fair Traders from China will showcase Transmission equipments, electricals and automobiles, food and beverages, milk product, kitchenware, Garments and Smartwatches. Similarly, stall from Pakistan are supposed to sell leather and Garments, and Garments stalls from Bangladesh will also have the powerful presence in the fair.
On the occasion of this auspicious fair, special stalls like ‘Made in Nepal’ , handicraft products and different ev vehicles are supposed to be traded. During the fair there will also be a special Interactive session with International buyers so that Nepali products would get recognition on the International arena.
