SATV Kathmandu Oct 08: The U.S. Soybean Export Council (USSEC) has announced a major restructuring of its regional operations to improve efficiency, align leadership, and expand international engagement on behalf of U.S. Soy farmers and industry partners.

As part of the new structure, Kevin Roepke has been appointed Executive Director for the Middle East, North Africa, and South Asia (MENASA) region, effective October 1. Roepke will lead initiatives to expand market access, strengthen partnerships, and promote the sustainable value of U.S. Soy in the region.

"The new structure strengthens USSEC's focus on strategic priorities and ensures U.S. Soy remains the trusted partner of choice for customers around the world," said Jim Sutter, CEO of USSEC. "We are confident that Kevin will provide strong leadership across MENA and South Asia."

Roepke, who previously served as Regional Director for South Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa, brings over two decades of experience in international agriculture and market development. He has also held leadership roles at the U.S. Grains Council, overseeing global trade and sustainability programs.

"It is an honor for me to step into this role," added Roepke. "I'm driven to connect America's soybean farmers to the global market. Their sustainable practices expand economic activity and nutrition security, both at home and abroad.

USSEC operates in 92 countries, supporting U.S. Soy's market access and positioning as a reliable source for food, feed, and aquaculture industries.
