Kathmandu, July 22, 2026 — Huawei has unveiled its latest FusionSolar 9.0 Smart PV Solution and LUTERRA™ Utility Grid Forming Energy Storage System (ESS) in Nepal, reaffirming its long-term commitment to supporting the country's transition toward clean, reliable, and sustainable energy.

The new solutions were jointly launched by Birendra Raj Pandey, President of the Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI); Yu Jianlong, Director of Huawei Digital Power South Asia Region; Chester Chen, CEO of Huawei Nepal; and Rohit Chandra Shah, Director of Huawei Nepal Digital Power, during an event held under the theme "Step into the All-Scenario Grid-Forming Era."

Huawei's FusionSolar 9.0 is a next-generation utility-scale solar power solution that integrates intelligent digital technologies with solar energy to improve operational efficiency and maximize clean energy generation. The company also introduced the LUTERRA Utility Grid Forming ESS, an advanced battery energy storage system designed to store renewable energy, balance electricity supply and demand, and improve the stability and reliability of the national power grid.
