President Ranil Wickremesinghe left the Katunayake International Airport this morning for the United Kingdom to attend the coronation ceremony of King Charles III, the airport officials confirmed.

He said eight others have also accompanied the President.

The coronation will take place on May 6, 2023, at 11.00 am London time.

The President and the entourage will be on transit in Dubai, before taking a connecting flight to London.
