The Electricity Authority has informed that electricity supply will be interrupted at 8 places in Kathmandu on Saturday.

As part of the Lapsiphedi and Changunarayan substation construction project, the charging work is being done at Teku substation, there will be interruption in electricity supply at 8 places in Kathmandu from 10 am to 3 pm.

Teku Suchatar 66 KV line is currently being charged at 132 KV. As the main bus line has to be extended and connected to the newly constructed 132 KV way, the Electricity Service Interruption Authority has informed about the feeders being supplied from Suchatar substation.

Bafal, Budathoki Coldstore, Civil Homes and Alkatra, Saranpur, Thapachok, Sweet Gumba, Single Tree and Changunarayan Mandir area will be blocked.

Similarly, the authority informed that there will be power cut in Gyanodaya, Gai-Bach Pati, Swayambhu, Sano Bharyang, Baroodkhana area, Balambu, Dhunge Adda Naikap, Satungal, Bosigaon Salik Chowk, LRI, New Diamond etc. Srijana Chowk, Indrayan, Gurjudhara, Hill Vision Colony, Patichoke, Gautam Village, Hassantar, Godamthok, Ramkot, Bhimdhunga, Chhatre Deurali will also be blocked.

Similarly, the authority said that the electricity service will be blocked in Durganagar, Suchatar Bridge, Makalu Petrol Pump, Shaheed Hospital, Kalimati and Malpot, Khasibazar, Sunargaon, Balkhu, Kuleshwar, Tanglaphant, Kirtipur Bazar, Maitrinagar, Bagh Bhairav, Mandir area, Panga Dobato.
