
SATV, Kathmandu, Mar. 26 - On 21st November 2025, Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay attended the Signing Ceremony of the Commercial Agreements between Druk Green Power Corporation and Tata Power Company Limited for the implementation of the 1,125 MW Dorjilung Hydroelectric Power Project (DHPP).
He expressed gratitude to Tata Power for their significant investment, to the World Bank Group as the lead financier, and to the Government of India for their steadfast partnership. The Prime Minister underscored the importance of renewable energy for socio-economic development noting that this project represents a key strategic initiative. He also congratulated all parties on the successful signing.
