Former PM Khanal stresses on making Nepal-China relations further prosperous

SATV, Kathmandu, Sept. 15 - Former Prime Minister Jhala Nath Khanal has laid emphasis on the need of developing Nepal-China relations in multi-dimensional areas.     

Concluding the third series of two-day 'Kasthamandap Dialogue' organised by Foundation for Peace, Development and Socialism here today, Khanal opined that Nepal should benefit from China's rapid economic, scientific and technical development.     

He stressed the need of making the relations between the two countries further prosperous.     

At the programme, views were exchanged on various themes including 'Changing International and Regional Environment for Nepal-China Relations', 'Party Building and Experience of Good Governance', 'Practical Cooperation: Geopolitics, Trade and Connectivity', 'Climate Resilience and Transboundary Risk Reduction', 'Nepal-China Cultural and People-Level Cooperation', and 'The Role of Youth: Building Friendship for Next Generation'.(RSS)
