Dollar and Yuan Remain Stable as Australian, Canadian and Singapore Dollars Rise

SATV, Kathmandu, October 3: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today, with the US dollar and Chinese yuan remaining stable while the Australian, Canadian and Singapore dollars have seen an increase in value.

According to Nepal Rastra Bank, the buying rate for one US dollar has been fixed at Rs 153.81 and the selling rate at Rs 154.41. The Chinese yuan has been set at Rs 22.94 for buying and Rs 23.03 for selling.

The Australian dollar has been fixed at Rs 106.61 for buying and Rs 107.03 for selling, while the Canadian dollar stands at Rs 107.88 for buying and Rs 108.30 for selling. The Singapore dollar has a buying rate of Rs 120.01 and a selling rate of Rs 120.48.

The euro has been fixed at Rs 173.31 for buying and Rs 173.99 for selling. The UK pound sterling has a buying rate of Rs 202.94 and a selling rate of Rs 203.74, while the Swiss franc stands at Rs 183.76 for buying and Rs 184.48 for selling.

The Japanese yen has been fixed at Rs 9.71 for buying and Rs 9.75 for selling per 10 yen. The Saudi Arabian riyal stands at Rs 40.96 for buying and Rs 41.12 for selling, while the Qatari riyal has been fixed at Rs 42.20 and Rs 42.36, respectively.

According to the central bank, the Thai baht has a buying rate of Rs 4.56 and a selling rate of Rs 4.58. The UAE dirham stands at Rs 41.88 for buying and Rs 42.04 for selling, while the Malaysian ringgit has been fixed at Rs 37.66 and Rs 37.80, respectively.

For 100 South Korean won, the buying rate is Rs 11.26 and the selling rate is Rs 11.30. The Swedish krona stands at Rs 15.29 for buying and Rs 15.35 for selling, while the Danish krone has been fixed at Rs 23.18 and Rs 23.27, respectively.

The Hong Kong dollar has a buying rate of Rs 19.60 and a selling rate of Rs 19.68. The Kuwaiti dinar stands at Rs 499.46 for buying and Rs 501.41 for selling. The Bahraini dinar has been fixed at Rs 407.97 and Rs 409.56, while the Omani rial stands at Rs 399.51 for buying and Rs 401.07 for selling.

The Indian rupee has been fixed at Rs 160 for buying and Rs 160.15 for selling per 100 Indian rupees.

Nepal Rastra Bank said the exchange rates may be revised at any time as necessary. Exchange rates set by commercial banks may differ from the central bank’s rates, and updated rates are available on the Nepal Rastra Bank website.
