China has been the largest foreign direct investments sources for South countries for the last few years. In total Chinese investor searched 260 billion Nepali rupees creating more than hundred thousand job opportunities.

Nepal- China Investment Bussiness Forum 2023 was held in hotel Yak and Yeti, Durbarmarg on Tuesday, March 14.

Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI) along with the collaboration of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) organized the international business event to discuss and analyse the prospects of further investments in Nepal.

The conference had 47 Chinese companies with more than 60 bussiness delegates investors searching for good construction, network, medicinal, energy, science and technology, tourism, investment sector in Nepal.

Prime minister Pushpa kamal Dahal remarks that legitimate assistant for Chinese company will be provided to flourish and maximize the utilisation of technology to meet targets. Ambassador Cheng Song, assures that China was, is and will always be trustworthy and reliable friend and partner of Nepal. China remained second largest trading partner of Nepal despite the Co-vid pandemic, increasing by 28% in the year 2020/21. Fast expansion of economic ties not only contribute to the steady growth of family relationship and consolidate the political trust leading to foster signage between the strategic cooperative development and carry the cooperation to a greater heights.
He adds, China interests to contribute in "Made in Nepal" vision by making investments including for Self-reliance development as Nepal's also striving to graduate from the list of developing countries. He adds, China welcomes exports of Nepal to strengthen ties through joint effort investment in Nepal-China trade and bussiness.
China has been the second largest source of foreign tourists for Nepal before Co-vid pandemic and believes to be become the first now. In 2023, China not only opens Chinese Tourist to visit Nepal for gaining its warm hospitality but also welcomes Nepalese to visit China with the assurance of Tourist visa. Cheng song expresses that, Shared Destiny has brought Chinese and Nepalese people together for mutally beneficial cooperation and more tentative results.
