A total of 40,407 Bangladeshi Hajj pilgrims have obtained Saudi visas as of Tuesday night. 

Of the pilgrims who have obtained Saudi visas, 6,967 have already arrived in Saudi Arabia, with 2,489 under government management and 4,478 under private management.

This year, a total of 603 Hajj agencies are offering their services to the pilgrims. The visa allocation for government-managed pilgrims is 14%, while for privately managed pilgrims it is 86%.

A regular coordination meeting of the Hajj administrative team, under the chairmanship of Religious Affairs Ministry Additional Secretary (Hajj Wing) Matiul Islam, was held in Saudi Arabia on Tuesday night.

The meeting focused on the formation of issue-based committees with the aim of ensuring uninterrupted service to the incoming pilgrims.

The first flight transporting Hajj pilgrims from Bangladesh to Saudi Arabia took off on May 21. 

Hajj is expected to commence on June 27, depending on the sighting of the moon.
