Geneva (Switzerland), June 15: President Ramchandra Paudel attended a reception organized in his honor by the Nepali Embassy in Geneva.
On the occasion, President Paudel was welcomed by Nepal's Ambassador to Switzerland, Ram Prasad Subedi, and the Nepalis living in and working Switzerland.
At the function, Ambassador Subedi informed the President about various aspects of Swiss-Nepal relations, development and cooperation, as well as about the Nepalis in the country.
Ambassador Subedi also noted that the meeting between the President of Nepal and the President of Switzerland after 25 years in Switzerland had strengthened the relationship between the two countries. Furthermore, the keynote address by the President at the opening session of the Global Alliance for Social Justice program has established Nepal's international identity in the global stage.
The event was held as part of the high-level session of the 112th International Labor Conference of the International Labor Organization (ILO) in Geneva on Thursday.
President Paudel will now leave tomorrow for a friendly visit of Germany, according to the personal secretariat of the President.
