GENEVA, Sept. 1 -- FIFA Foundation started its 2024 community program on Friday, aiming for positive changes from football around the world, especially to children and young people within the communities.
According to reports from football's world governing body, 114 non-governmental organizations (NGOs) were accepted onto the program in 2023. Each applicant received up to 30,000 U.S. dollars from the fundings.
FIFA Foundation Executive Chairman Mauricio Macri promised more organizations could apply for the program and the FIFA Foundation will also organize some workshops to assist NGOs with their projects.
