SATV, Jan 5. A meeting was held between General Executives of Nepal Olympics Committee team and Mr. Zheng Yao with other Chinese delegates on 5th of January.

Mr. Zheng Yao, Director of sports bureau of Zhejiang province also had worked as a vice secretary of the Organising Committee of the Hangzhou Asian Games 2022. He landed Nepal on Jan 4th of 2024. 

The meeting put special light on the cooperation between Zhejiang province of China with sports bereau of Nepal.

Mr. Jeevan Ram Shrestha, president of Nepal Olympic committee explained that many players have been showing greater interest in Dragon Boat Race festival this year as well. He also proposed the example of marathons lumbini is organising and cannoying in Nepal's rivers.

The close collaboration between two countries made Dragon Boat Race festival a success previous year in Pokhara's Fewa lake. West lake of China signifiying great beauty and ancient history was also beautifully presented in Asian games.

Mr. Zheng Yao proposed wushu and Karatey games from Zhejiang province with enthusiastic cooperation acceptance in marathons and other games Nepal proposed. He described, " Zhejiang province loves sports" highlighting the marathons Hangzhou conducts every year.

The two party ended the meeting by discussing to be invited at game organised by eachother through the support of Chinese Embassy in Nepal. Mr. Yao invited President of Nepal Olympic committee to Zhejiang province visit while suggested the invitation to eachother in each other's sports organisation.

Both of the delegates shared gifts as a token of love, support, remembrance for this deepening relationship buildup through the cooperation of games and sports which they share in similarity and even in difference.
