Free Health Camp Organized by Armed Police Family Women's Association with Chinese Medical Team

SATV 8 March, Kathmandu: In celebration of the 115th International Women's Day, a free health camp has been organized by the Armed Police Force and the Armed Police Family Women's Association on 8th and 9th March at the Armed Police Hospital in Balambu. The camp was conducted by a Chinese medical team.

Led by Chief Doctor Yang Liang, the team, which included several specialists, provided services such as blood tests, ECGs, and other outpatient care to the patients. Doctor Yang Liang also mentioned that traditional Chinese medicine was used to benefit many service recipients.

On the first day of the camp, several prominent figures, including Anita Lamichhane Aryal, the President of the Armed Police Family Women's Association, visited the camp and observed the medical procedures. The medical team expressed their happiness at being able to conduct such a camp in Nepal, while the Nepali beneficiaries expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to receive these services.

The camp, which was specifically targeted at Armed Police personnel and their families, aimed to serve as many people as possible over the two days. On the first day alone, the organizers planned to conduct health check-ups for more than 300 individuals.
