Work to establish primary schools in 20 chars is already underway, state minister for primary and mass education says

The government has undertaken a plan to set up 1,000 more primary schools in the char areas of Bangladesh, State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Md Zakir Hossen has said.

“Work to establish primary schools in 20 chars has already started,” he said at a program held on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Fulbari Degree College in Fulbari on Thursday.

The state minister also urged teachers, students, former students and parents not to forget their roots, no matter whether they are living now.

Md Zakir Hossen inaugurated the golden jubilee ceremony of the college established on April 27, 1973.
