China South Asian Countries Poverty Alleviation and Cooperative Development Center Lunching Ceremony was held at Chongqing Southwest University on July 8. The organization shared the China’s experience in poverty reduction, support and help for South Asian countries to consolidate the results of poverty reduction.
On April 27, 2021, the six foreign ministers of China, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh reached a consensus in a video conference on cooperating in response to the COVID-19 epidemic. China will establish a China South Asian Countries Poverty Alleviation and Cooperative Development Center to communicate with other countries Poverty reduction experience and useful practices. The organization will play a key role in poverty control. It also aims to integrate power and resources and develop the South Asian countries economy, improve people's living standards and exchange knowledge.
